Work Louder has always been about empowering creators to bring their vision to life. It wasn't too long ago that "Work Louder", and the Creator Board itself were just visions in a creator's mind. Today, it is with extreme pride I type to you, our loyal community and fans, from the very first fully functioning Creator Board. We did it - now here it is:
The Creator Board is a true testament to the power of niche communities and crowd-funding projects in general - thank you for being a part of this journey.
Despite the Creator Board not selling out upon its initial launch back in February 2021, we decided to push through and fund the difference to our breakeven. As we drew closer to delivering the product we sold more until we sold all 130 boards. Our waitlist is now well over 700 people long, and if you were one of the original backers - Thank you. You believed, shared, and spoke about Work Louder until it became real.
On top of the success of the Creator Board, the wrk. keysets were another huge hit among backers who were either late to the party, or wanted to augment their CB typing experience.
With our group buys being finished we are in full fulfillment mode.
We're currently waiting for our PCBs to come in, but we were told not to expect any delays on that front and should get them by the end of the month. That actually works out nicely as we are expecting our labeled keycaps to come in around the same time, which means anyone who ordered wrk keysets won't have to wait any longer than anyone else.
Here is what the final keyboard packaging will look like - using up-cycled foam pyramids to secure the CB inside the bag once it's vacuum sealed.
Currently we are loading the keycaps like plebs, by hand, with a piece of paper lol... I wish I kidding!

As we started working on a little device to help us speed up this process, a Tiktok creator, who goes by @oliviaoomenart offered to give us a hand! Olivia will be creating and prototyping the device for us - how awesome is that!
